Motorola Droid Bionic Specifications
Motorola is one of the top favorite brands in the world when it comes to smartphones market. They have been making pretty good smartphones all of their years in this industry and have won many hearts. The user experience of Motorola mobiles has been reviewed to be a very good one and handy as well. Well, the Droid Bionic is the newest offering from the brand Motorola. This is currently the world’s thinnest android smartphone that supports 4G LTE connectivity and Full HD video recording.
As for the display, the Motorola Droid Bionic features a 4.3Inch TFT capacitive display. It comes with a screen resolution of 540×960 pixels and a pixel density of 256 pixels per inch. The display is a ratio of 16:9 which is an on-going trend and a great choice for media consumption. The display is sadly not a high-definition 720P display with 1280×720 pixels resolution but still does the job pretty well without any chance for a complaint.
This display emits 16 million colors and it does support multi-touch. It is a pretty good display for both gaming and as well as media consumption. One little drawback is that there is no protection to the display. Yes, neither a Corning Gorilla Glass protection nor a simple scratch-resistant glass. With that being said, the touch is pretty accurate and smooth overall. This device comes pre-loaded with the latest Android 2.3.4 GingerBread operating system with luckily, no custom skin on top of it.
In terms of hardware, the new Motorola Droid Bionic doesn’t hang behind. It is a good performer with pretty neat hardware under its hood. It comes with the TI OMAP 4430 processor which basically runs all the tasks on this device. It is a dual-core core Cortex-A9 chipset running at a clock speed of 1.0Ghz. Speaking of which, it is a pretty good looking hardware with that 1.0Ghz dual-core CPU which will outperform most of its competition.
Also, it comes with the PowerVR SGX540 graphics processor which is pretty rare to see inside smartphones these days. It is again a pretty powerful GPU which can seamlessly run any game, be it a high-end one or a low-end one. It also helps with the faster frame rendering which means better media consumption is guaranteed. For storage, the Bionic is gonna come with 16GB of internal storage for your media, games, files etc. Fortunately, it can be expanded up to 32GB via using an SDcard for which there is a dedicated slot.
Also, it has got 512MB of RA which is pretty spacious for running big apps and multitasking without any lag in performance. Coming to the camera is where the real deal is. Camera wise, the Droid Bionic sports an 8-Megapixel camera at the back which comes with Autofocus. It is said to record full high-definition videos up to 1080P at a frame rate of 30 frames per second. There is also a VGA camera up front for video calling purposes. All of this hardware is powered by a 1735mAh Li-Ion battery which is removable.
